Sabbat Observation - Ostara - Saturday September 21 - 1:30 to 4:30
The Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, marks a time of equal day and equal night. It is a liminal space, a space of the in-between. In-between dark and light. In-between death and full bloom. Utilising the energy of the equinox and the spaciousness of this in-between, we can explore themes of balance in our lives as we take our final steps out of the winter’s hibernation, a time of inner-reflection and deep listening, and emerge into the renewing energy of springtime.
Gather and celebrate this juicy in-between with the heart-opening medicine of Cacao and guided visualisation meditation woven within intuitive creative art process. Here, you will experience yourself as a seed, full of life-force energy, germinating in the fertility of mother earth, poised at the edge of potential.
You will have the opportunity to tap into your creative self using clay and nature items. Please keep in mind that this is a Transpersonal art therapeutic experience and not an art lesson, therefor, emphasis is on the process as opposed to the end product.
You do not need prior experience with meditation or artmaking to engage in the process that will be offered.
These Sabbat Circles are designed to invite participants to gently explore deeper aspects of self with the support of the seasonal energies, together with the medicine of Cacao. They are also designed to elicit lightness and joy through arts and crafts and community connection.
